| The Sillon beach saw its first bathers in the middle of the 19th century : the very first “curists”. Eventually, part of the beach was reserved for warm seawater baths in wooden tubs. In 1867, the hotel was built to become the Grand Hotel de Paramé, very fashionable with the elite, notably the Dukes of Russia.
In 1963, Dr. Heger created a Thalassotherapy centre and in 1981 Serge Raulic created Les Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo which rapidly became one of the very first French centres appreciated for its modern facilities.
For the past 20 years we have been renewing and improving our facilities and equipment : Today we employ 420 people to welcome 20 000 guests per year. |
